Finding Me

Woohoo! Didn't get as much of a chance to declutter today as I thought I would, but look at this - one week in and we've hit the 100 item mark! The scary/amazing thing is you really can't tell I've gotten rid of one hundred things just by looking around, and that's after already majorly cleaning out. Wow. How much freaking stuff do I own!?!?! Anyway, here's today's anti-haul: 3 CDs 2 Chapsticks (I own a ridiculous  amount for someone who almost never uses chapstick.) Harry Potter pen - loved it but it just ran out of ink today. Yet another  lens cleaning cloth. Exactly how many of these freaking things did I have lying around? Well, it's been a crazy week with the new job and Ironman training, but we keep trucking on. I didn't get a chance to upload a blog yesterday, so we gonna bang both days out at once here. Day Five: It was a very very busy day, so I didn't have much time to look around, but found a couple quick items: Sponsor patch Sponsor discount cards from last year Rusted candle holder Day Six: (Sorry for the blurriness - not sure what's going on with that.) 4 pairs socks 2 expired travel toothpastes Coat Organizer with drawers (Don't need anymore because of how much I've decluttered - Yay!) Two Day Total: 11 Overall Total: 94 906 to go. Actually can't believe I'm already almost up to 100 items.

Well, the work laptop finally arrived and it's been a crazy busy day (the Bawse Alarm went off at 4:45 this morning), so just a quick entry. Despite having zero time, managed to find a few more items:  - 1 contact lens case  - 2 expired toothpastes.  - 1 pair socks  - 1 shirt  - 1 travel shave cream  - 1 card game  - 1 nail polish  - 1 random screw I found Will have more time tomorrow to do a better cleanout.  Today's Total: 9 Overall Total: 83 917 to go...HELP!

Although today is the first day of my new job, I have some extra time while waiting for my work laptop to arrive, so let's see what we can cull: 1 Coat 1 Spice jar 1 Bottle of sprinkles? Sorry for the disappearance - shortly after starting this blog I unexpectedly lost my job (literally the day after my last post). Anyway, I'm back with a really tough (in a totally awesome way, of course) challenge I found on Youtube - Getting rid of 1,000 things. Yikes! So, here's the video I saw: I admittedly didn't love the actual video (a quick search shows there are others on the 1,000 item challenge) , but the challenge fascinated me. It's hard to imagine I even OWN 1,000 things, especially after clearing out literally BAGS of stuff (especially clothes and books), but I know I can do it.
